Peacocks is very proud to have participated in the Royal Academy of Engineering's This is Engineering Campaign.
Aimed at changing the perception of engineering amongst young people, a series of 7 inspiring films have been created to show that getting in to enginneering can provide an exciting, varied and rewarding career.
The national campaign which was first launched in January has just released it's second series of films, one of which features Alan - who works at Peacocks as a 'Walk Wizard'
Peacocks employs engineers in a variety of roles across the business and is delighted that Alan was chosen to participate in this campaign. This film, highlights the benefits of engineering as a career, apprenticeships, learning on the job and working with the Orthotics industry to - in his words - "help people who have difficulty walking get back on their feet."
