What is Physiotherapy?
Physiotherapy is about physical well being. As physiotherapists we treat people of all ages. Physiotherapists are trained to diagnose problems in the joints and tissues of the body and there is strong evidence for the effectiveness of many treatments for back pain using physiotherapy. Physiotherapy treatments are used to enhance and speed up the natural healing process.
"Physiotherapy helps restore movement and function to as near normal as possible when someone is affected by injury, illness or by developmental or other disability."
"A physiotherapist can help you find the best way to use your body to maximise your strengths, eliminate bad habits and put minimal strain on weaker areas, to help you enjoy a more full and healthy life."
