On Saturday 22nd June, Peacocks Medical was proud to support Scoliosis Awareness Day at the Royal Victoria Infirmary, part of The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
The event brought together patients, families, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and spinal surgeons from across Newcastle to raise awareness and share knowledge about scoliosis and related research.
Peacocks was represented by Andrew Frame, Paul Charlton, and Beth Morris, who engaged with visitors throughout the day. Paul demonstrated casting techniques, while Andrew showcased scanning technologies – helping attendees better understand scoliosis assessment and treatment.
Alongside our team, attendees explored informative stalls from the BASIS trial, the Scoliosis Research Society, and research projects taking place within the Trust.
We were proud to be part of a day focused on patient education, collaboration, and innovation in spinal care.
